High rise

I blipped a similar image 20 days ago, on 14/12, as the river through the centre of town was high & fast flowing then, or so we thought!

That was nothing compared to the speed it was flowing nor the height the water level has risen to today!!!

We had popped into town to get my new ring, a gift from C, resized.

As luck would have it the jewellers actually had in a new one in, in my size, so a straight swap was done ….. I feel a future blip coming on :-)

I can only imagine how high the River Trent must be by now, having seen it 3 weeks ago, when it had already burst its banks in many places :-(((

Is this rain ever going to stop??!!
