Caught the Cathedral….. just!
I was up at a ridiculous time this morning (?well for me anyhow lol)
First physio appointment @ 8.15.
H, C’s daughter works at the hospital so I offered to take her into work then drive to the location of my physio close by.
The car was very icy so a lengthy defrost before we left just after 7.30am
Had a good first session, more exercises to do & a process to apply pressure to aid swelling reduction. Overall pretty happy with my progress. She did say these types of wrist injuries can take up to 12 months to fully recover. Eleanor used an instrument to measure my grip/hand strength. Right is a steady 14, injured left was 7/8…. so a way to go yet.
As I was driving back, the cathedral was looking majestic in the winter sunshine.
Grabbed this one handed on my phone as
I drove by, yes naughty I know, but there wasn’t another car anywhere, just sad I chopped the Spire off :-/ but still thought it was worth blip :-)
We have 3 gigs this weekend, tonight in Leicester, tomorrow in Hull & Sunday in Buxton, which is closer to home than it is to C’s in Lincoln, so the plan is for me to pack my car Sunday, follow C to the gig then carry on home afterwards.
It will feel very weird to be home alone after 3months with C, H & “the boys” but I am looking forward to catching up with family & friends properly now everything is back to normal post xmas etc :-)
