More painting

I had a little bit of sanding to do this morning before I could start putting on the first top coat.  It’s a paint formulated for walking on and has a thick texture, so it was a little different to apply from normal paint.  I got half the stairs painted before lunch and the other half this afternoon.  I think it will look better, more even, after the second coat, which hopefully will go on tomorrow afternoon.

MrMacD spent time in the garden and checking over the two electric bikes and my Brompton.  He took each electric bike out for a ride to make sure they were working properly.

A satisfying day.

I first saw portulacas in a public garden in Napier.  I thought they were small, cute and colourful and fell in love with them.  MrMacD has planted a number of portulacas in our garden and the first one flowered today.  Hurrah!
