The Princess and the Pancake...

We all slept well, including Esme on the blow up bed :-)

After tea and toast Andrew, Nikki and Esme went for a dook in the pool.  They weren't able to stay in for too long as we discovered the temperature of the water was 39 degrees (should be 34 degrees) For some reason the boiler wasn't cutting out when the optimum temp was reached so that's a call to Heatstar tomorrow.  

We all enjoyed a full Scottish breakfast before relaxing in the garden room watching Moana, which was Esme's choice.  Of course she ended up getting her nails painted, playing with her doll, chatting to Penny....everything except watching the film but we all enjoyed it!

Andrew Nikki and Esme left when the film ended, followed about an hour later by Ele, Kenny and Jen.  D made us a cuppa and we flopped into our favourite seats, feet up and toasted the end of the festive season.  All over for another year.  Well strictly speaking it won't be over till Saturday as John and Norma are coming for dinner on Friday and staying over, so by Saturday it will be officially well and truly over :-)

After our large brunch we weren't ready for dinner so ate what was left of the smoked mackerel pate with oatcakes.  Tried to watch TV but we both dozed off.
