Today's the day ........................ to go out with the girls

A wonderful day's outing for us girls (see extra) today - to see the matinee performance of Wicked  at Edinburgh's Playhouse Theatre.

It was actually a Christmas present for Moira (Tessa and Josie's other Gran) and myself, which Anna had arranged for us all.  The performance was spectacular in every way and the theatre was full to capacity with an audience that appreciated - and enjoyed - everything that the show had to offer.  We all had a great time.

The above giraffes, the largest of which stands 22ft high, are an imposing sight just outside the theatre.  They were created by artist Helen Denerley out of discarded parts of motorbikes and cars and other bits of scrap metal .................
