Today's the day ........................ to move things around

A quiet day here today - taking down all the Christmas decorations, putting the tree back in the garden and returning the house to its usual state.  I couldn't help thinking of how Tessa and Josie were helping us this time last year - and it seemed to be much more fun!

As is the way of these things though, once the decorations etc had gone, we started thinking how bare things looked - and before we knew what was happening, we were swapping round curtains and moving furniture about.  And before long, there was chaos in most rooms as we tried out different combinations.

It took most of the day - but eventually we were satisfied with the way things were looking.  For the time being at least ....................!
