Lilliput Library …..

Lilliput libraries are dotted around New Zealand in all sorts of places. Some are relatively remote, others are in towns. Anyone can take a book with no payment. You can return it if you wish, and you can also add other books if you wish. It’s a delightful concept.

My #1 son and his partner came with me to Frankton this morning to look for warm outdoor jackets. M. was in luck as Sales are on and he found a wonderful down jacket with $150 off the retail price. It was so cold in there this morning that he wore it out of the shop! We had hot drinks with our lunches which were very welcome. It did heat up this afternoon thankfully, when Missy & I went walking. Missy’s been very attentive today, with lots of sitting on my knees. She had a lovely time staying with my neighbour though - that worked very well.
