Rainbow

Last time I went on a dhow I got drenched, and this evening’s sunset boat ride was no different. We had been aiming to use the dhow to travel down the beach to a restaurant for dinner, but despite some strong tacking attempts by the captain and his crew, the squalls and winds were too unpredictable. We got off at a random point on the beach and found food in situ.

Among the chaos and rain-filled eyes we saw a double rainbow, which was remarkable. A lifetime first for me I think.
