Swinging

The rain was torrential and humidity extreme. During breaks in the rain, this girl enjoyed playing on the swing in front of my hotel.

The brief sojourn with Michelle in Zanzibar had to come to an end as reality bit by the afternoon. As we are only two countries away from each other, we pledged that our meet-ups cannot be limited to my birthday, which is the emerging pattern. When you live away from your home country, family and old friends and haven’t established a big social circle it’s important to keep in touch with your faithful mainstays.
