Hedge Cutting

They've been getting on with the job of hedge cutting in these parts since Boxing Day but of course the weather has been against them some days. It's such a shame that the old way of hedge laying is rarely seen nowadays unless it's a competition.

We met with friends for brunch at The Cotswold Distillery at Stourton. I had a 'croque madame' and have to say that it was quite wonderful.

It hasn't't rained so far today and the water levels have receded hereabouts so it's good news. However, it's quite grey again here now and feeling chillier than it has been.
