Winter lollies

I took some painkillers last night and thankfully managed a good sleep. 

I hadn't even gotten a coffee into me when the jedi wanted me to build him a rocket. He's full of beans the minute he wakes up. His construction set is great and can be made into a few projects. 

It was a early start on the road for Mr R.  He is away in Aberdeen. Thankfully there is no snow up that way today. He did get two new tyres fitted yesterday for the journey today.  

We have had a relaxed kind of day. Lots of laundry washed and ironed. 
The big wildlings wanted a wander up town for a ice lolly.  So that's what we did to break up the day. 

I spoke to orthopaedics this morning.  They have gave me a appointment for Monday.  They did ask me to come in today but I had no car or childcare and I haven't cycled on the bike since before my surgery.  So it is fine to wait until Monday.  They're going to give me a xray too . Because of the pain further up my foot. 

The big wildlings are excited for tomorrow afternoon.  We're taking nana and grandad for a meal for a early birthday present for nana. Hopefully it won't rain as there is a good climbing frame and slide outside,  which keeps the wildlings entertained while waiting for food. 

Xander is back at football training tomorrow.  Next Saturday he has a great opportunity to get coaching from Queen of the south and go out on the football pitch during the half time game. He says he wants to do it , but it will be a full stadium and very noisy. So I'm not sure. But I won't pressure him. I've also said he can wear his ear defenders but he's at that age where he doesn't want people taking the mikey out of him. ..... watch this space.
