Longest day of the year

I have blipped this view from the bridge in Bridge-of-Allan several times, especially when it is in flood.

Last August we had a flash flood and in November the floods were back again.


Today on the longest day of the year and it is a tranquil scene in our Victorian spa town town but how long will it last? The forecast is for rain and high winds over the next few days.

Having just seen the floods in Canada on th television it serves as yet another dire warning of the climate change we are undergoing.
