The Waiting Game

This heron is a familiar sight under the bridge in Bridge-of-Allan.
He stands motionless for hours in the Allanwater river, a tributary of the river Forth.

He must be fishing yet I have never seen him catch anything.

It's been a day devoted to gardening as we begin the grand clear up ready for Open Gardens in a weeks time.
