After the Christmas storms ..,

I was in town this morning. There was a very twelfth night feeling everywhere. The promenade market stalls had all gone. Where the Christmas ice rink had been the grass was already showing signs of recovery. No need for the mass re-turfing that Edinburgh’s ‘Christmas City’ seems to need every year! I walked 3.5 miles on my errands and all were successfully accomplished. The buses, in and out of town ran to time too!
