Juvenile Day at the Feed Station
Had a late start this morning so enjoyed a few minutes watching the birds at our feeding station. It seems to be juvenile day as we had a couple of young great tits including this one, along with reed warblers and wrens. The latter two are very rare visitors to the gardens and I was quite surprised to see them. The gape flanges are still visible on this youngster.
A bit of a struggle to capture a sharp image, even at iso1600 I could only just get up to 1/200th second.
Please DON'T look too close.
