Remains of the day

National Care Homes Open Day today. Our contribution to the charity day - the aim of which is to try and counteract some of the bad publicity generated by the media over a few bad homes - was to invite people to a cream tea and see our Care Home at work.

It went well. We had lots of visitors. The Landowner gave an interesting talk on the history of the house including when it was used in the making of "The French Lieutenants Woman" and all went home replete from a Devonshire Cream Tea !
