Axe Vale Festival

So often the Axe Vale Festival is blighted by bad weather, last year it was cancelled as the fields were flooded. It is an amazing show for a small East Devon town and people come from far and wide to exhibit and visit. Today the rain came and went at intervals and I was appropriately dressed in a hat, scarf, anorak and Wellies ! So much for flaming June! However it was a great day, great atmosphere, lovely local delicacies, beautiful plants and flowers and a host of local artisans and businesses displaying their products. Who cares about the rain !
