A lot of wind

The wildlife conference continues and the number of contacts I am meeting with on the sidelines is very useful. My social battery is a bit low perhaps because of constant movements since October.

I was talking with someone who did their PhD in Sheffield. ‘A lot of wind’, they said. I imagine those brisk Pennine gusts are blowing through fairly strongly at this time of year.

I am staying in a basic guesthouse in the city centre so there is a high density of rooftops outside of my window.
