Goodbye 2023...

A morning walk on a short section of the Trans Pennine Trail from Dunford Bridge. Nice and flat, perfect for trying out our new Christmas walking poles. MrM seemed to manage his perfectly, but somehow mine seemed to get out of step with the rest of me - kept reverting to 'spotty dog' (same arm as leg), definitely not the correct technique. More practice required, maybe after watching an instructional video or three!

Back home to make up the bed in the spare room, and prepare for tomorrow.

In the evening the Holmfirth New Year Ceilidh, where MrM and I danced the night away. No better way to end the year...
...and start the next.
