Sunday: Across The Garden
We had a lovely catch-up with our friends, B&R, in the UK. For various reasons, we haven’t spoken in a long time but made up for that today. They’re both former blippers but gave up - I’m pleased to report that our friendship has withstood that particular challenge. They’ve recently moved from London to York so gave us a virtual tour of their new house.
We had intended to go to Guanacaste National Park but, once we’d finished our call, it was the hottest and stickiest part of the day so we ended up not doing anything terribly exciting (other than some pool time).
In an effort to find a blip I took a stroll around the garden. This is the view over to the house (in case you didn’t realise).
Finished my first book of the year, ‘Burying The Bones’, a biography of Pearl S. Buck by Hilary Spurling.
