Trixie's Adventures

Cold............. or is it?!

The temperature thingy in the car today told us it was 4C.

Mmmmm............... the sun was shining brightly and it was so hot on my morning walk, down on the beach, that Ann had to take off her gloves.

We frittered the morning away indoors, and it was so hot in our living room, that we actually had to open the sun terrace door. We are sooo lucky to have a house that faces south. The last couple of days, we haven't needed to have any heating on until the evening.

This afternoon we went over to Penzance because Ann wanted to go to 'B&M' and 'The Range'. She said she would take me for a play on Long Rock/Marazion beach afterwards, but she didn't realise that the tide would be all the way in. I went for a walk along the St Erth River instead.

It was nice along the river but the path was very muddy (Ann had to wear her wellies) and I didn't see one single bunny. Also the river was so fast flowing and deep that I didn't even bother going in for a swim.

And in other news...................... well....................... it's really quiet in St Ives again. All the holiday makers have left and on my 'first thing in the morning walk', I pretty much had the beach all to myself. We can walk around town again and actually meet people that we know. …............Oh and did anyone else notice, how practically every holiday maker had two or three dogs with them, and were wearing 'dry robes' when they obviously had absolutely no intention of wearing them for what they were actually designed for? It was like........... over New Year, everyone in St Ives, had an unofficial uniform..................... if the human wasn't wearing a dry robe and trailing at least two dogs around on an extendable lead, then they weren't part of the 'in crowd'?!!!!

Having said that; loads of 'locals' seem to have turned into 'hippies' and have dyed their hair really bright colours?! Is that another 'unofficial trendy rule' that my human knows nothing about? One of her friends told her, that it's to cover the grey? Mmmmmm................ my human has always gone down the 'conventional' route and has blonde highlights. She's thinking she might go down the multi-coloured route though. Well as long as it can be washed out. Lol!

….............And that's all we have to say today.

Toodles. xxx
