A rubbish photo (but it sums up our life today)
Today I had to get up in the middle of the night (OK it wasn't the middle of the night. It was 6.30am) to go into the field for toileting purposes. I had to wear my illuminating collar because it was pitch black. My illuminating collar does not look this wide in real life.
After my toileting walk, I got popped into the car and we went to 'St Erth Station' to drop off our friend, Fiona, who has been staying with us for the last few days. When we got home it was still pitch black but I went down to the beach for a play. There were two other doggies there with illuminating collars. They were a long way away from me but I woofed at them because I was a bit scared. I couldn't see the doggies. All I could see was a couple of flashing things zooming around.
Anyway by the time we got home it was absolutely chucking it down with rain so we were both a bit soggy.
Late morning I went out for another 'on my lead' walk for about 45mins. It was still raining. We both got a bit soggy again.
Ann was working 2.30-7.30pm this afternoon so I went for a little play in the field at 1.45pm. It was still raining. We both got a bit soggy again. Ann got soggy walking to work. Ann got soggy walking home from work.
I haven't eaten my breakfast or my dinner today. For some reason, I'm not hungry. This evening I'm happily snoozing in my bed. Ann doesn't worry if I miss one meal, but she starts to panic a bit if I go more than a day without eating.
Our weather app is full of little sunny day symbols tomorrow and she had planned a big long walk for us. Unfortunately she's working 9.30-2.30 so that's not going to be possible. Booohoooo. We've got 100 walks to walk before the end of 2025.
Ann loves where she works, but the 'week's rota' runs from Thursday-Wednesday and she never knows what she's working until a Wednesday afternoon. #howannoyingisthat? It's like 'the powers that be', don't think that anyone has a life outside work. Obviously Ann would not have a problem taking on the job of organising the rotas though tbh she loves being in a job where she just does it and goes home at the end of her shift but she doesn't want any sort of managerial responsibility. It's not like she works in a multi million pound company. Anyway.................. enough ranting!!! She's fortunate enough to be in a position where she can pick & choose where she works and in a couple of months she'll be an OAP and will get her pension. Lol!
PS – My human has written a lot today to make up for the rubbish photo. It's been rain, rain and more rain today, so this is the only photo that she's taken of me. I'm going to have to go out for my bedtime wee soon and it's still raining and raining and raining....................
