Starflyer

Edinburgh's Christmas rides, taken down and parked .. there was a carousel truck further along, but this looks like the main stem of the Starflyer ( there are many blips of it flying, beside the Scott Monument). 

Defrosted the freezer first thing (motivated by @keibr and @harlingdarling doing theirs outdoors in Sweden). Just an undercounter unit, so didn't take long. Having had a self defrosting freezer as part of a fridge for 20+ years, I'm out of the habit of defrosting ..)

Afternoon walk by London Road gardens. Lots of piled up Christmas trees around the streets. Two rabbits on the defunct bowling green. Once past the big trucks we went down Jacob's Ladder to Calton Road .. a steep descent down the side of the hill. No frost by then, 3C and a little bit of East wind.
