Home Sweet Home

We knew the gas works had started while we were away, but not quite how much of a mess the street would be. This is taken after all the work vans had gone. Some of the driveways are blocked up, meaning people have to either park in another street, or on the pavement on our side (tomorrow is bin day, it'll be interesting to see how that works out, a lorry will NEVER get up the street the chaos it was in today).

The workmen were playing to stereotype, with three of them standing round watching one digging and just having a laugh and a joke the whole time rather than getting on with everything.

A couple of hours home and I was already wishing I was back in Skye!
