Christmas pudding cheesecake

It feels like there is always something to be bought in a supermarket at the moment. We visited again at lunchtime. There were only a few things needed but cream - for the Christmas pudding flavoured cheesecake was one of the most essential. This time we took Mum and Dad and turned it into a short walk around the block so that we can all say that we got some exercise before this evening’s festivities. 

When everybody arrived, we had a nice chat and managed to sit down to dinner just after 8pm. About an hour later PY’s cheesecake came out of the fridge and it was delicious. 

At about 11:30pm we turned on the television so that we could watch countdown and fireworks. Rick Astley’s concert provided the run-up to the new year bells. Just before midnight, Mum and I took the ‘first footing’ bag outside and waited for midnight. We could hear the countdown. Dad opened the door at midnight and we brought in the new year.
