Hop

After a catch up/planning call with VG first thing I packed, emptied bins, ate a weird lunch of stuff needing used up from the fridge and tried to leave everything sorted before getting the bus and tram to the airport. I needed to get there early to be settled somewhere as quiet as possible to then join a zoom committee meeting for a couple of hours before boarding.
Short, straightforward flight to Gatwick (sat next to quite a strange couple having a very odd conversation!) then a very cold walk and wait for the shuttle bus to the hotel. I don’t want to be taking jumpers or a coat with me but boy it’s cold in just a t shirt and denim jacket! No doubt it will feel even colder once we’ve been spoiled by a week of warmth!
Tucked up in bed with tea and an M&S spiced sticky bun for supper…need to get all good sleep tonight for an early start!
