Storms ragin'

S wind 30 with gusts to 36, driving rain, ebb tide thank goodness. 4.9ft tide height is in the forecast. 5ft is major flooding.  On the brighter side it is warm, 55 F. That makes this more bearable. If the tide comes in before the wind calms some all the piers out front will be gone. The gusts were stronger when I was out storm chasing. (see extra hubby took). I went to the gazebo and had to brace myself on the pillar to stay standing in a strong gust, 40MPH+ I'm sure, 60MPH gusts are possible. Lights are flickering and there are about 287 people without power in our county. Power is also out in WV. Big storm.
