Backlit

Went for a prowl around the garden just before the low sun was shaded off the garden by the front hedge. The backlit catkins caught my eye, partly because of the background colours - the bright yellow area is the sun reflecting off an area of grass (no, the grass itself isn't yellow, we've had too much rain!!). The catkins were jiggling around in the breeze - the shutter speed wasn't high enough &, although I increased it, there wasn't enough time to really experiment with it before the patch of light disappeared, though I managed to catch them between gusts, more or less.
