An earful

The old doorstop is something I always played with at my Nana Josselyn's and was one of the things of hers I wanted at the end. There was another lighter Dutch windmill one with a slightly open door that was much easier to play with , but I don't know which of my cousins ended up with it.

The chipmunks were on this dog in a flash, swarming around each time I added more peanuts which fell off instantly. There were 6 this morning, all young ones .

Today we're celebrating my niece S's 28th birthday. It's actually June 29th, but my brother and sister -in-law will be at our family place in Machiasport, Maine that day starting their vacation.
