Day at Colchester Zoo

Fab day with B at the zoo where we had several moments of joy with the delightful animals - orangutan,  sealiions, giraffe,  owl, amur tiger, wolves,  fish, and chimps. Before we arrived I was mostly looking forward to seeing the sealiion, but best bit was the owl, and chimp encounter. So many endangered species and so much to see and learn about. We both agreed that it was a fab day out. 

Cs birthday today. 29 years of joy which she has added to our lives which we can be very grateful for. 

An update from G brought more bad news. He is allowed home for a couple of hours each day but needs to return for hospital care through the night whilst he has radiation treatment and more tests, including a lung biopsy on Monday. So difficult to know what to do, especially as there is little that I can do with him so far away.
