Saturday: Plitvice Lakes

Plitvice Lakes is exactly half way between Zadar and Zagreb so it would be foolish not to stop off and show K.'s brother the delights of the local scenery.  It was a wonderful drive through the National Park - K. and I have visited Plitvice before but more off-season so it was interesting to see how much busier it was today.  Not horrendous yet, though, that will probably come in July!  It is always hard to know what to post - it is such a beautiful place but I do quite like the shots that show the scale of the lakes.  

We had a great walk round for a couple of hours before heading to back to Zagreb.  A very quick turnaround, though, as we off out to meet Dijana.  She is currently studying for a PhD so spends most of her time studying.  So when she goes out she likes to really go out............
