Friday: Summer Cool

Today was one of those random public holidays that everyone else benefits from, but we don't.  I think it may have been Anti-Fascist Day.  

K. and I went out for a most tasty meal tonight to Apetit.  We have decided that Friday's are going to be our going out to new restaurant nights.  

While taking this, I kept on getting K. to move out of the way because she was in the picture.  The upshot was that she ended up sitting in the garden next door.

We are going out for beers (of a non-lager variety!  Yes, we are going for real ale!) and a Thai curry tomorrow night.  We are just dying for something other than a breaded cutlet and with a bit of a kick to it.  The fact that we have to cross international borders for said curry and beer is neither here nor there.......we are off to Slovenia tomorrow, purely for a meal out!
