Cooler

Today was coffee morning, which was most enjoyable. I walked back up the hill. MrMacD collected his Brompton from the cycle shop, having had three broken spokes replaced, then cycled home. I think he had to walk up a steep bit. 

MrMacD has sourdough bread on the go, so needed to attend to that. After lunch we measured our bathroom and ensuite windows then ordered the blinds. Hopefully they won’t take too long because the painter is hoping to start again on Tuesday. 

We walked back down the hill to the Victoria Lounge Bar for a drink the had supper at the Star and Garter. Of course, we had to walk back up the hill afterwards, so have had a reasonable amount of exercise today. 

On our way through the park on our way down to town this evening we passed these four trees with rather lovely bark.
