Vagrant Sign.
Today, I was on my way to town on the bus, which was constantly held up in the Midsummer Fair traffic. After spending 20 mins on a normal 5 min journey, I decided to get off and have another look around the Folk Museum, where I found this old sign from Rampton Village, warning Vagrants and 'Begars' that they would be apprehended and punished as the law directs. Yesterday's blip showed the Victorian shop front and today the door was open, so I went inside and what a pleasant surprise. It was a Saturday Tea Room, also open other days in school holidays. The vintage themed tea rooms serve a range of teas, freshly brewed coffee, local cordials and freshly baked treats from a local baker 'Afternoon Tease' one being a rhubarb cake, but I chose Victoria sponge. You can choose your own vintage tea pot and cup and saucer from an eclectic range. I chose the type my mother had in the 50's. If I had know about this, it could have been added to yesterday's blip. As it's not far from home, I intend to go several times more as I found some interesting items I'd like to photograph.
