Another typical summers day for 2013, grey skies, cold wind and intermittent showers.

Shame really as I helped at a garden party for the local Almshouse called Rowland Hill. sadly the date was changed from next week to this week and a couple of the residents took umbrage and encouraged 90% of the residents to boycott it and not support the manager. We all ahd a lively time and the residents who refused to go lost out.

Back to the art walk. Once through the swan arch you enter the Market place. This is the Staines war memorial and is included on the walk. I am sure 20 years ago there was no fountain attached to it as the market was held here. To see the whole thing click here on the art walk
