Mixed Bag

It’s been a miserable day for the birds. First they battled heavy snow, then sleet and now heavy rain. Lots of finches, carolina wrens, juncos, cardinals, chickadees and nuthatches feeding on the ground with many taking turns at the feeders. Not a squirrel in sight either! They must be snuggled in their nests waiting for it all to stop! • I just finished making a big pot of faux-chicken vegetable soup for dinner tonight (YUM), and soon we’ll be watching “Killers Of The Flower Moon”. I read the book a couple of years ago and look forward to seeing it on screen • Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
