One life to live

Saint Knut's Day

Many people in Finland take down their Christmas tree and decorations after Epiphany, although others still wait until St. Knut’s Day (which marks the end of the festive season according to the Finnish folk tradition). And we do belong to the latter group! After all, we are true Christmas people. But now, our perfectly beautiful Christmas tree has gone and all decorations are packed to the attic. Now it's time to start waiting for summer :)

In the afternoon we did an expedition trip to Näsijärvi lake with Sari and Heka, our target was to find the Siilinkari sector light in brisk wind and blizzard. As you can see, we found it, it was quite an adventure! Couple extra photos included! Then afternoon coffee/tea at S's & H's home.

Lovely evening at home with Emma. We played Scrabble, which she  overwhelmingly won.

-6°C, snowstorm
