Hannes Heikura retrospective

I met my photography study friends Kati, Paula, Nina and Heini in the Finlayson. We went to see the new Art Gallery Himmelblau's exhibition: Hannes Heikura's (1958-2015) retrospective photography exhibition. He is a famous Finnish photographic artist and photojournalist, who had a unique shooting style. This is probably his largest exhibition so far.

It was great experience and there was great photos to see! Heikura's statement was: Life is not all doom and gloom. Hope is what I am looking for.


Then we had coffee at the Cafe Pala. It was uplifting and inspiring to have a chat with these great ladies! And I got a lift from lovely Kati <3
