Up the creek

I went back to Boulder Beach today and photographed this blue water lily in the small lagoon. There are native Australian water lilies, but I suspect this is an import from Africa. Although it's an attractive flower, its classed as a weed in parts of eastern Australia, because it displaces similar native species.
