Sliver
This is a late blip because we have been out for most of the day, travelling to and from the moors west of Sheffield for an orienteering event on West Burbage Moor. The weather and views were great for a day out up high, but I struggled on the course. We traversed a very heathery moor three times and it was hard work clambering over it. How I wished I had longer legs like the orienteers passing me who were bounding across the moor!
Afterwards we had refreshments at Longshaw Café before walking back to Stony Ridge Road, which had been closed for the day to use as parking, then turning for home. As the sun dipped I spotted the sliver of moon high in the sky and blip done.
