Another long driving day

We left Alabama this morning around 9am and we got home at 6:30pm. Taking a different back road route takes time but we saw some beautiful rolling hills and lots of farm country.

This is the old Gantt home place across from the bed and breakfast. Mostly used for “storage”. At least there was not an old car on cement blocks in the front yard. If you don’t get that reference you don’t live in the south!

This was the only photo I took today. I probably took less photos than ever for a trip. And not a single walk if I don’t count walking in four different antique stores. Having a travel partner with mobility issues is Avery different experience but we had a good time. The other ladies staying at the bed and breakfast were really friendly and fun.

So glad I made the trip!
