Sunset over Great Dodd

A morning in town shopping was followed by a meeting of the village Social Club.  On the way back from town Blencathra was looking magnificent in bright sunshine and covered in snow.  Clickychick mentioned it would make a good blip if we had time to nip out before going to the meeting.  We didn't have time.

After a talk about what the Wildlife Trust is doing in the area and how people can get involved, the light was starting to fade.  WE quickly went home added more clothes and went towards Keswick hoping for a sunset.  The area isn't brilliant for sunsets as the fells get in the way masking much of the colour as the sun approaches the horizon.
