Blue blue blue blue moon

Today I've mainly been writing up an interview with the editor of a journal concerned with mine closures (yes, there is such a thing) and catching up on a bit of work admin. The cold but clear weather seems to have brought out the birdlife in our garden – but, typically, as soon as I ventured out with my camera it all scattered. As I made my way inside I caught sight of the moon, looking pale but beautiful in the blue sky, so managed a half-decent shot as I shivered. Tonight I'm meeting a few friends at a great pub that serves terrific Thai food, which will hopefully warm the cockles :)
