Outside

I was working different hours today to fit in with an appointment.

Arrived at the cafe just as the snow stopped falling, and I volunteered to be the person who clears and salts the paths. Putting on a high vis jacket and spreading rock salt, I felt like a council worker…it was good to be out getting some fresh air and exercise.

Not surprisingly, it was quiet in the afternoon so we busied ourselves with weekly cleaning jobs. I had a sauna after work and then caught the bus home. It looks as though the snow has mostly gone already, which is a shame. The roads are wet and it’s predicted to be -7 tonight so it could be very icy in the morning.

D is cooking pasta for tea :-)
