Taking precautions

I popped into church this morning to collect some papers ahead of meetings tonight.

A clear out was underway with lots being taken away for recycling, resale or refuse.

There were apparently some mouldy contents in this box which could not be kept. The date of the box itself is not clear. It could be from either of the world wars. So it is not going anywhere until we find out a bit more about it and whether it belonged to the scouts, the BBs or the wider church community.

Another example of the motto “Be Prepared”!
