Solitary…….

……. Young woman on the beach at Breaker Bay early this morning. She had been swimming and told me the water was like being in a warm bath. Amazing because the sea at Breaker Bay is often quite a lot colder than over the hill at the main beach. Breaker Bay is a ten minute uphill walk from the main Kaiteriteri beach. Margaret and I took snacks and our swimming gear and walked to Breaker Bay. mid-morning. The swimming was brilliant. We like going there because it is never as busy as the main beach simply because folk have to walk there carrying all their beach gear.
