The Moorings…..

…… early this morning. These boats at the north-eastern end of the beach are on their usual moorings. Many will be off out later, sailing/motoring up the coast and into the Abel Tasman National Park. Both Margaret and I were up early for our exercise routines. Margaret ran our usual route up the back road to the Kaiteriteri Forest sign high above the sea. I walked the whole 7.5km route. Because it is so familiar to us both never seems too long a distance.
We’ve had a lovely sunny day marred only by a very cool sea breeze this afternoon.
We took a trip into Motueka this afternoon for some shopping and other tasks.
