Thank you
Today was another appointment at the RM. The journey was perfect and we arrived in record time (even allowing for getting petrol). I parked and No.1 went to get in the queue for bloods. I had only just parked and walking into the building and she had already had blood taken - a record!! We waited for around 45 minutes before being taken in to see the consultant which was not the usual man but a side kick? I felt this must mean that it was not bad news and I was right - everything is stable and blood results were good! We all felt such a sigh of relief as the last four weeks have been horrible and No.1 feeling so poorly. However it must have been the back to back flu and anaemia rather than anything else. We felt so relieved.
I encouraged No.1 and JC to go off for a walk so they drove to Morden Hall while I sat in the car and made a few phone calls. I had a quick sandwich and cup of tea in Maggies (and took a leaflet for the sponsored Abseil?!) before meeting themm at MHP. No.1 was still finishing off her lunch but afterwards we did anothe lap around the park in the sunshine.
Onwards and definitely bloody upwards in the right direction - thank you Lord!!
