Snow day

I didn't have to wait for a blip today, it was there as soon as I got up.. Snow has been falling through the night and there's no immediate end in sight. 12cms when I got up. 25 expected. 
All the schools are closed, the kids are out enjoying the snow,  transit is in chaos, people have been told to stay home so that our meager fleet of ploughs has the space on the roads to clean up as best as possible..
I'm staying home, there's no bloody point in fighting Mother Nature, she always wins.
Tomorrow might well be the same.
 A couple of extras just for fun.
