Snow!

This was the view from the kitchen window this morning - proper snow! There must have been several showers during the night and there were more during the day between the sunny intervals. Thankfully, I had no need to venture out in the car today as the roads were quite white and the school buses were cancelled. There would be some happy young people playing out in the snow (fairly unusual for us). By this evening there was a blanket of at least three inches covering the garden. I loved my walk with Bertie this afternoon, crunching our way through pristine snow.
